How SimpliEng handles information on this website and in the current beta application.
1. Information SimpliEng currently collects
The current SimpliEng beta does not intentionally collect or upload calculation inputs, saved calculations, calculation history, contact lists, location, advertising identifiers or personal profiles to a SimpliEng cloud service.
2. Local device storage
The beta application may store saved calculations, calculation history and app preferences locally in the browser or device storage. This information remains on that device unless the user exports, copies or otherwise shares it.
3. Website hosting
This website is delivered through third-party internet infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps and request/security logs as necessary to deliver and protect the website.
4. Cookies and analytics
The current public website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics. If analytics, crash reporting, accounts or cloud synchronisation are introduced later, this policy and the relevant app-store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are enabled.
5. Email and support
If you contact SimpliEng for support, the information you choose to provide in that message may be used to respond to your request and diagnose the issue.
6. Children
SimpliEng is an industrial engineering tool and is not directed at children.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as SimpliEng moves from beta to public release. The current version will be published on this page.
